On September 14th, Quick Shear Inc. rocked our annual fundraiser at the Crookwell Showgrounds—and what a day it was! Despite the arctic winds, the new venue was a hit. We had 100 shearers competing and over 700 people through the gates, making it a packed house!

Thanks to the massive turnout, we raised a whopping $7,420 for Bigga Public School P&C, plus $1,286 in gold coin donations for Bigga RFS. Crookwell Meals on Wheels scored $2,655 from the Calcutta finals—Jimmy Samuels crushed it!

Our Trademutt shirts initiative also took off, raising $1,000 for the Crookwell Community Men’s Shed and $500 for The Man Walk Australia - Crookwell Branch to support local mental health. And let’s not forget the $2,500 donation to Bigga Progress Association to upgrade their rec grounds. Bigga’s gonna be booming!

Thanks to this collective generosity, we are pleased to announce that we were able to donate $5800.00 to the Binda Public School P&C. Additionally, the Calcutta event raised $1287.00 for Crookwell Meals on Wheels.
