Quick Shear Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2023, run solely by volunteers.

Annually, we plan to run a shearing competition, in our local community, supporting other non-for-profit groups and projects by using it as a fundraiser.

We anticipate our events will have the following benefits:

• Boost community engagement

• Enable other not-for-profits to reach fundraising and project targets more quickly

• Bring visitors and outside income to our shire

• Provide an advertising platform for local businesses

• Encourage more people to become involved in the shearing industry

• Advance agriculture

Quick Shear Inc managed the 2023 Binda Quick Shear, which was a resounding success.

This year’s fundraiser will focus on the Bigga community in conjunction with the 140-year celebration of Bigga Public School.
