Quick Shear 2023: A Showcase of Innovation and Excellence

The 2023 Quick Shear held at Binda was a resounding success, bringing together rural communities and competitors from far away.

Key highlights of the event included the fierce competition amongst all of the shearers, leading to an exciting finals. The day, however, was not just about who could shear a sheep the best and fastest. There were plenty activities for the kids with a dedicated playground area, colouring competition, kid’s quick shear, free face painting and a magic show to finish off the afternoon.

For the bigger “kids” we held a Teams Challenge, where teams of three had to eat a cold pie (not as easy as you think), scull a drink and shear a sheep.

As we reflect on the successes of Quick Shear 2023, we look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to set new standards for excellence in the years to come.
