Jodie Garnham - president

Jodie has a strong link to shearing since childhood, growing up in a community deeply involved in shearing. She learned firsthand about the industry's challenges. Over time, she explored shearing in detail, understanding the tough conditions shearers face, changing market needs and how the environment affects wool quality.

Jodie is passionate about helping kids thrive despite limited resources. She works with community members to improve education and activities for rural children in the Upper Lachlan Shire. Jodie aims to support these communities and empower children for a better future.

Jodie understands the difficulties that Crookwell and nearby areas face in drawing visitors and their money. It's a common issue for many locals. Jodie is working on creating tourism projects for the Upper Lachlan Shire to help. By highlighting attractions as part of a bigger regional visit, small towns can appeal to more people and get more attention.

Quick Shear Inc was co-created by Jodie, who deeply cares about Crookwell and neighbouring areas. Jodie started this non-profit organisation to help rural communities tackle their unique challenges. The organisation aims to recognise and overcome these hurdles by forming partnerships and working together. Through its growth, Quick Shear Inc is dedicated to supporting rural communities in the Upper Lachlan Shire, showing how grassroot efforts can bring about lasting change in rural areas.
